K.W. Biography:
First Africa, then the world. The phenomenal success of his inventive remake of Toto hit “Africa” launched Karl Wolf into the international spotlight, but this was far from a case of ‘overnight success syndrome’. This multi-talented Montrealer has long enjoyed serious peer and music industry respect in Canada as a producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer of true skill and vision. Thanks to “Africa,” Karl Wolf’s music is now reaching the global marketplace, and his new album, Nightlife, dramatically confirms he’s the real deal. For more please visit www.KarlWolf.com
Going to be opening for Karl Wolf @ Envy Nightclub at the end of this month along with many other great artists!! Going to be an amazing show so call me for tickets ASAP before it sells out!!!

So I've decided to come up with a blog spot for everyone out there that likes to listen to my music, who can relate to me, who wants to follow me as I travel down the road of life aiming to reach my greatest goals and conquer my biggest fears...I want to share my experiences with the world as I live them and meet new people as I endure on my conquest to who knows where next. This is Verbz In Tha Mix and I want to make a living out of music, but right now I got to deal with some real life issues and pull it all together before I start making major moves. Lemme explain my current set-up to everybody who is out there wondering: Some Insignia speakers from Wal Mart, an Apex microphone (I payed 20$ for), hooked up to an M-Audio pre amp which all connects to my computer...which aint the best either, I'm not going to lie lol I use Cool edit Pro 2.0 like A LOT of artists out there! I've used this set up for the past almost five years, no jokes, I've had a different microphone here and there but as far as my producing methods with the program I've learned a lot of new things over that time frame. I'll put pictures up soon to give you a better idea of what I use. I just want to give you all the details because every single song you've heard with me on it: I produced the vocals with everything I mentioned above! So now you know, I'm not recording in some awesome studio somwhere with top knotch equipment haha..well not yet anyways ; ) I'm currently residing in a basement suite in Surrey, BC and the rent money is the first thing that has to be payed on the 1st of every month soooo with that being said I am now looking for a second job so I can get by every month and get some extra cash to save. Something I haven't been doing lately! Times are tough at the moment, but I know it will all get better real soon..Just got to get out there on my grind and make things happen. 1% Inspiration & 99% Perspiration. Despite all the craziness, over the past couple of months I've had a few shows that were a great turnout! Good times, new people and lots of fun in Kamloops with all my good friends, radio show on Van Island, show at Envy Nightclub, I was the DJ at Shine Nightclub and then I did a set afterwards! So I've been getting my name out there and doing what I love to do. Big ups to my label Up In Your Basment: http://www.upinyourbasement.com for making everything possible! Now I got the Karl Wolf show coming up and then possibly a tour across Vancouver Island in September which would be epic. My album was due July 15th but because of complications I was unable to complete it by that set date but have no worries...I am working on the album and it will be finished soon, I can promise you this! I've been recording some songs on the side while working on my album just to have some new stuff up for people to hear always experimenting with new sounds and getting stoked off of other artists! Especially Drake, I've been listening to A LOT of his work lately, especially the new album. Well thanks to everyone who took the time to read through my first blog! There will be many, many more and there will be lots of great stuff on the way so be on the lookout!! Lotsa love to everyone who supports me and believes in what I do, to allmy homies and of course my family, missin you all!!! ~1~
